Electro-Motive (EMD, formerly division of General Motors, now a standalone company) is a
manufacturer of diesel locomotives based in the United States of America. EMD sells its locomotives
primarily in the North American market (USA/Canada), but has recently had quite a success with export
products in Europe and Asia.
